I love these belts! They're easy to block, but even easier to unblock! I keep my belt tight and it's never slipped (I don't wear it to work but I wear cargo shorts with a lot of stuff in my pockets)! The belt before that was one of those Army/Canvas Scouts. Sliding strap and I couldn't find a narrow one so I bought the standard 1.5 inch and it holds up but the buckle is very difficult to unbuckle so I bought one of these! If you have a waist size that is close to the maximum belt size Order the next size up because I ordered a size 44 and I have a 42 inch waist and I only get a few clicks before I get my size up and you can always shorten them!
