Review on Windproof Travel Umbrella Rain Compact by Emily Perkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product! about pocket umbrellas

After thorough research on travel umbrellas, I decided on the Repel Windproof travel umbrella. It arrived as expected and was neatly packaged. The device seems to be of acceptable quality, although I haven't used it very much yet to see how it performs for a long time (assuming I don't lose it!). Best Features: 1) Fiberglass ribs - I expect these hold up better than the typical lightweight and highly flexible ribs you find in pharmacy umbrellas. 2) Up/Down button. I usually expect an umbrella to have a button or switch that opens it. Part of the "Down" key was a pleasant surprise. This greatly speeds up and simplifies the process of folding the dome. Getting in the car after walking through a rainy parking lot is much easier. Be careful though, if you hit the down button when the umbrella is over your head, you'll get the shower you were trying to avoid! So far it has only rained once. There wasn't much wind so I can't comment on that aspect of this umbrella. It offered the expected coverage for its canopy size, and as mentioned above, it's easy to open and fold. Good product!
