This portable stool is folded the size of a medium tote bag. It's fairly light and has a wide built-in fabric strap for easy portability. The assembly of the seat is very easy. There are handles on the top and bottom to quickly unfold and rotate the seat to the locked open position. There is also a latch on the top of the seat that opens to reveal a 2xAA battery compartment for the built in LED light. Once in place, the seat feels very solid and more than strong enough to support an average adult. There are 3 lighting modes: plain white, slow RGB and SOS (aka party mode). We mainly use regular white light, nicely diffused but not that bright. Its brightness is only enough to illuminate the top half of the trunk when fully extended. All in all, this is a very useful portable stool. We will definitely take our people on trips and conventions!
