I purchased SUNSTAR 888JC GUM ADVANCED CARE ADVANCED CARE dental floss after my dental hygienist recommended I try it because I was having trouble cleaning my teeth with regular floss. She said these little flossers have just enough floss length to wrap properly around your teeth on the sides. I agree. Pros: - Doesn't cut off blood circulation in fingers by wrapping them in dental floss - Extracts nutrition from my teeth - Portable/convenient for traveling - Dental floss is convenient - Choice is convenient Cons: - My hand hurts after gripping the floss so tightly it gets between my teeth - the floss ends up being flimsy (definitely not good if you're trying to scrape something) - I have narrow spaces between my teeth and some brands of floss don't fit in between. This floss works great on everything except my back molars. I have to pull very hard (difficult for my hand in such a small space) to pull the food back out, which loosens the thread a little each time. Neutral taste and grip experience. * I have never tried anything like this, so I have no comparison with the pen. Since the purchase I've alternated between using this thread and regular thread.
