A slight improvement over other similar mini pc's

I've had a chance to review a few of these mini pc's and overall I like them and would recommend them if you have the right application for them to have. What sets this phone apart from others is the built-in USB-C port, which I found completely missing on a similar model and hidden on another, which I found odd. This makes it available at least in normal mode. The box is also thicker than it should be as there is room for an optional extra hard drive. That's great, but if you don't want to use it, your box is still bigger than it should be. A similar model at least allowed you to separate this part as a standalone add-on if you didn't want to, further reducing the PC's profile (it looked more or less like an external DVD drive back then!). But honestly, most people just use a VESA mount or something similar just to mount it on the back of their digital signage monitor or TV, so the extra space doesn't matter. Keep in mind that these are NOT powerful slots and will have very limited CPU and GPU capabilities. However, for general desktop processing (office documents, light browsing, etc.), this is more than sufficient while taking up only a tiny area. They also make great media computers for video streaming and even support dual monitors! However, don't expect to play 3D games in full resolution or anything like that. However, Netflix streaming and other similar options are fine. I have used similar models as pop up kiosks at events/exhibitions that attach to the back of a touchscreen monitor. It's great for that.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • For the old
