I give 5* because it exceeded my expectations! I'm paraplegic so I used it while sitting in my bed. I've had so many moments ooh/ahh! The fabric is very cool, smooth and comfortable on my skin - doesn't sweat or stick. Engine noise is minimal and somewhat reassuring. It seems there are only two real ways to move - and there isn't much of a difference between them. In addition, there is no noticeable heat from "infrared light". But I'm not deducting a single star because the massage he gives is just amazing! I can make it as deep or soft as I want without getting tired - the design is awesome! You put your hands in the holes and go. Also, while sitting in bed, I just put my hands through the holes and can pull the massager from the lowest point to about mid-back - then I switch to wearing it around the neck and work my way down to mid-back. I can go up and down, hard or soft, as I please. I've found that when a place hurts, just get used to that place and keep going back there - keep going deeper. My whole back was in a knot and this little gem untied them - and it's only the first night! Due to my condition, I can't lie on a massage table, and I would have to use an Uber or have a friend take me to a massage chair. I ALREADY got my money's worth! It's a game changer in my comfort level.
