I've had one for about a week now and I really like it. I wanted to build a DIY mount like this but when I found this one for the price I decided to just buy it instead of making it myself because the cost of the parts to assemble would be almost the same as the cost. to buy, and that it's more portable and probably more durable than the DIY plans I had. I mainly shoot HD videos outdoors for the Youtube channel. It takes a little time to set up, but once you get it set up and know how it works, it will work pretty well. I got mine out and did a few hours of practice recording before using it for actual recording. I can see where some of the more expensive gimbal stable mount styles would be more ideal, but this is more than satisfactory for the price. However, everyone seems to think that you'll be capturing cinema-quality footage in five minutes straight away. That will not do. It's a tool and you need to learn how to properly balance it (there are TONS of YT videos showing you exactly how to do it) and you need to learn how to properly control it (again, TONS of YT videos, showing you the technique). . It is a kind of art form and must be learned. So if you are looking for instant gratification then this tool and high quality video just isn't for you. If you're willing to spend a few hours learning how to properly balance your camera and practice proper camera technique, then this is a great tool with a stable camera at an affordable price.
