In the end I'd say it's significantly better than no stabilizer at all

I wanted to use an inexpensive stabilizer to shoot baby videos on iPhone. "Real" stabilizers are too expensive for that. There are a number of devices that look the same - Roxant, Afonta, etc. - priced from $29 to $70 and up. I believe they are identical. If you need one of these, go for the cheapest one. It was a little difficult to set up. The design is really geared towards heavier cameras (DSLRs etc) which meant a trip to the hardware store to buy a washer and screw to counterbalance it. In

very good product in its price range

This portable digital SLR stabilizer is a very, very good product in its price range. It took a while to fully stabilize, but if you're doing it for the first time, you can easily detach and reattach the camera. .Here is my very simple guide. Know how much weight you need. The more weight you put on, the faster it swings to the center. You may need to remove the load. Make sure the support bar is directly under the center of the camera. This makes it sit perfectly in the middle of what you…

Good choice for a cheap stabilizer

Did a lot of research before deciding on this stabilizer. Lots of negative reviews come with great comments. I needed a stabilizer so I kept looking. The customer who bought this made a YouTube video refuting most of the negative comments. The guy was very persuasive, so I ordered this stabilizer and received it when my friend returned to the States (I sent it to his Oklahoma address). Remembering the video, we tested it carefully and found that we were able to get it to work with very few…

Make sure everything is tight!

I did NOT get this thing to balance smoothly during the initial setup. I followed the tutorial video on YouTube; But it did not work. My video with video stabilizer was even worse than just handheld! There were a few questions from people in the YouTube video asking how tight the grip should be. An answer was given; not at all. I can only assume they were referring to a turnbuckle with a small "C" shaped plastic handle. Something is wrong I think; it must be tight, why is it there? When I…

Great tool for the price.

I've had one for about a week now and I really like it. I wanted to build a DIY mount like this but when I found this one for the price I decided to just buy it instead of making it myself because the cost of the parts to assemble would be almost the same as the cost. to buy, and that it's more portable and probably more durable than the DIY plans I had. I mainly shoot HD videos outdoors for the Youtube channel. It takes a little time to set up, but once you get it set up and know how it works,
