This portable digital SLR stabilizer is a very, very good product in its price range. It took a while to fully stabilize, but if you're doing it for the first time, you can easily detach and reattach the camera. .Here is my very simple guide. Know how much weight you need. The more weight you put on, the faster it swings to the center. You may need to remove the load. Make sure the support bar is directly under the center of the camera. This makes it sit perfectly in the middle of what you want. Also, center the camera with the notches on top, they look like a plus sign. Center it so that it doesn't wobble in any direction. Then move the weighted arm in small increments to make small adjustments to the camera's orientation. For the price, however, I have nothing to complain about. I wasn't expecting much from something at this price point given the competition, but honestly it makes all your shots really smooth. I use it with my new Sony A6300.
