Okay. First of all, I know this isn't exactly what you're supposed to be using this product for, but I've used it to soak up excess water outdoors where we have a lot of drainage issues (particularly where the concrete is kinked, bent, or warped ). cracked over 40 years and a short drive from the San Andreas fault line) and it has helped immensely in reducing the constant problems of dirt/stagnant water and nasty algae and mold stains that I have been slowly trying to do in the past, get rid of half a year. I like that it's just silicate dust so I'm not worried about the environmental impact over time It penetrates dirt despite being so light that it tends to just lie on top of what it's watered on, even if it's absorbing something that makes it easier to clean. It also seems to work better than the hardware store stuff, hence 5 stars (I'd give another 3, for the record).
