Review on Jabra EXTREME2 Bluetooth Headset - Superior Performance in Retail Packaging - Sleek Black Design! by Angela Murphy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost on par with the Jawbone icon + Caller ID

I've had the Jawbone icon for a long time (until the dog ate it) so I spent a lot of time deciding which Jawbone (HD or Era Icon ). For $$ I decided to try the Jabra Extreme 2 to be honest because it was about half the price. It's lightweight, probably not the best build quality, but it's small, unobtrusive, and it also has a mute button (press the volume up/down button together) which, to be honest, Jawbone has long missed even in newer products. Another thing to note is that the volume in the headset isn't dependent on the phone (iPhone in my case), which is nice. Overall, the Extreme2 is pretty good, to be honest - and probably effortlessly as good as a badge. The fit of the headphones isn't the best, but I haven't had any complaints about the mic (maybe people just assume I'm in a car or something), but the key is that it automatically *announces people from the phone book* . I would recommend it to anyone looking for a better than good headset but don't want to rely on Jawbone and their mytalk updates. Conclusion: automatically announces ALL phone book entries, has a mute button, voice assistant, above average, costs half the jaws. UPDATE: The mines arrived with the latest firmware so I'm not sure if this affects the quality of the mic in any way.
