Olympus TP-7 Call Recorder I have not remembered when I have bought a product that does what it says on the tin, complete, simple and inexpensive. I'm a writer using the TP-7 for phone interviews. I thought something was missing from the box when I opened it and found only a cable with a mini plug on one end and an earphone on the other. All you have to do is connect the plug to the recording device, put the receiver in one ear and talk on the phone as usual. It picks up both sides of a conversation without any hitches or losses. But the big surprise came when I plugged it into my laptop's mic jack, sat down with a guitar, and sang and played a song. The TR-7 sat on a tray at least 12 inches from my mouth and guitar. Everything took over. You won't believe the sound of the guitar. Great for working with songwriting ideas. I've had the TP-7 for about a year and will be ordering another when I'm done with this review. I still have the first one, but at such a low price (11/17 with shipping) I wanted to have a backup in case I lose or damage the first one, or if it is discontinued, or if the price goes up. Highly recommended.
