Review on Herschel Supply Co Oscar Wallet by Julie Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Small in the pocket

Need a new wallet for money and coins. Carry enough of that money for all those small transactions that shouldn't be loaded onto the card. I also carry my money and cards separately: this limits financial problems in the event of loss or theft. Bought this wallet. Looked good on the Revain site; thought to try. The only thing that worries me: its dimensions were not given. When it arrived I found the purse to be quite small: 4 5/8 inches long by 3 1/4 inches high (11.5 x 8 cm). Slightly smaller than old-fashioned library catalog cards (approx. 5" x 3 1/2"). There is no particular depth in the wallet to write about. Overall, it is ok as a wallet (hence the 3 stars). If the customer wants something very light/compact, only has 3 cards and some currency, it should work (although I don't recommend denominations under $50/$100 and just a few bills). Forget coins: they're too thin to be useful. Also, I found the zipper wasn't particularly strong, more sticky.
