Review on Sauder 413034 Beginnings Multimedia Storage by Jenn Arnold

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as good as its larger counterpart

I have 2 Sauder media storage units that each hold about 260 DVDs and would have bought a third one if the light switch wasn't partially blocked, so I bought this one , which holds about 60 DVDs less and costs more. I'm glad it matches the other two devices in shape and color. I'm disappointed that it doesn't have solid sides and the middle shelf isn't adjustable, but for my purposes it doesn't matter as it's not high enough to hold five DVD shelves. A few other minor complaints, the shelves are thinner material than my other towers, and the back is 2-piece, a decision that along with the 2-piece sides was probably made for packaging reasons. Overall I'm happy to have found a shelf that fits my needs so well, but unless you're in my very specific circumstances where you need a shelf that fits a specific spot, the other tower fits the bill Sauder makes better and is cheaper. Better built is the best choice I've found for cheap DVD storage.

Pros
  • Even the old one can understand
Cons
  • A few little things
