I applied this product to my chair exactly as recommended and the result can be seen in the attached picture. Like she wanted to sleep more in the chair with "Repellant" in it now. She comes to the chair, sniffs, looks me straight in the eyes, smiles and gets nice and comfortable. I think if you want your cats to stay away from furniture maybe use this elsewhere to lure them in. They seem to really like the smell.
