I received the product later than promised (I paid shipping for two days) and there were no instructions for use. My wooden staircase was technically dried prior to coating and the weather was dry for several weeks but temperatures dropped below freezing at night and rarely above 50 degrees during the day. Probably marginal. 3 days after application it rained a little and the tape burned. And of course, rain and ice are reasons why you might need a product like this. It might work better if a contact primer could be applied and dried before the tape as the peeling adhesive isn't too sticky.
