Review on πŸ”‘ 2-Pack Keyless Entry Remote Car Key for Toyota Corolla Venza Avalon GQ4-29T with G Chip - Keyless2Go Replacement by Jeff Remol

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Keys with GQ4-29T G chip fit 2013 Corolla.

GOOD:1. Programmed both buttons with Techstream with no problems on the first try. The first step was to program the remotes to lock and unlock the doors and make sure they worked. I then programmed both buttons and Techstream found no problem with the button programming. A NOTICE. Keys do not need to be cut for programming. If you are having trouble with a key at this point, you can always return it. Then they turned to local hardware, cut out the first key and made sure it would start the car. The key easily got stuck in one of two possible positions in the ignition switch. I had them use a wire key brush on the key to remove burrs. Shortened the second key and it worked too. Cost $5 + tax + $5 tip = about $10.30.2. Both dongles work just as well as any OEM dongle for about $20 each, plus cutting, techstream cable and programming, plus a new cloned 120GB SSD hard drive (need to remove antivirus and that was the safest way), which adds up to about $120. THE BAD: 1. I gave these keys 4 stars because my GARAGE indicated these keys would not work on my 2013 crown, but the same single GQ4-29T (G chip) key on Revain from the same supplier indicated, that it will work. After more research on the web, I ordered this pair of keys anyway.2. These keys are not OEM keys and do not have the Toyota symbol. I will lose a lot of sleep. PS: Will be changed to 5 stars if the supplier fixes the GARAGE issue with this product.

Pros

Cons
