It arrived in a green box with a lid, with a necklace attached to a black velvet sponge to keep it from getting tangled. This extra thought was greatly appreciated as most companies ignore it. The clasp is a standard lobster clasp, works easily and will not come loose accidentally. There is an extender chain to adjust the length. The finish is bright and shiny, I haven't noticed any manufacturing defects. The gold stars and a stone are not as bright and shiny as photoshopped, they tend to fade with wear. I found the mermaid and dolphin difficult to spot unless viewed up close, but they are detailed and beautifully done. I think this would be the perfect gift for a swimmer or sea lover.
