Very good fan for the price - relatively quiet and efficient

This is a very high quality fan/blower for the money. Since I was installing these near living quarters, I needed something relatively quiet. The noise level is surprisingly low - you can hear it, but it's not bulky, unbalanced, or too loud for people to converse while 8-10 feet away. The case and bracket are plastic, but they look pretty solid. It has a built in speed controller which is a big plus. The fan assembly looks a bit flimsy in the picture, but the actual fan blade seems pretty solid

They don't care!: HVAC Fans and Circulation Pumps

Bought this fan on 04/29/2020. On 03/20/2021 he started making a terrible noise like he was flying in! After removing it from my system and inspecting it, I found that the inside of the blade where it slides to the motor was "jammed". As a result, the blade will not balance properly and will rub against the sides of the fuselage, creating noise. When I contacted them about buying another blade they said they don't have one and they are sorry. The?! I can't get a blade to replace this in less…

Try using this ducted fan as "exhaust air" from the back bedroom while another powerful fan blows into the bedroom. After setting it up to work with the duct and detecting the loud hum/noise coming from the duct, the noise level belied their "quiet operation" on the Revain fan description page.
