I wish there was an industry standard for lightweight attachments but there are some other helmets with these attachments that are available without are ever use a rubber band or drill holes. The most comfortable way to wear a headlamp, the helmet keeps the light right where you need it, right where you're looking. Pro, good light with 3 settings, good lighting. The flashlight easily detaches from the helmet and features a magnet that can be easily removed and placed in the tool box for charging with the included USBc cable. can also easily carry a second flashlight on the back. or hold one charge while the other is in use, but it also has very good battery life. The helmet sits lower than any of my other helmets, it's a 4 point harness instead of 6 just less room to hit. I'm fine as I use this to keep the lights on and not really in danger of a hard fall. This makes it shorter and allows you to get into tighter spots. Con, I have a large head size 8, I'm at the limit of this helmet, I can't wear a stocking cap underneath like I can with my forest helmet. If you also have a big head, there is no extra room in this helmet. this refers to a helmet that fits a size 6 1/2 to 8. It is, but there is no extra room after a size 8
