Review on Topo Athletic Ultrafly Running Shoe by Bill Sorenson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great shoe with low drop (5mm) for stability

My medium to long distance running shoe for the last 5 years has been the Brooks Pure Flow 7. It's a 4mm drop shoe that feels like if they had enough media part. Side panels for stability. This topographic shoe also has a low drop (5mm) and has enough detail to act as a stability trainer. It's well padded. The top fit is fantastic. The spring feel is a bit spongy, but very trusting. I love this shoe. It will replace the Pure Flow 7. The toe box is wide enough to not be an issue, while the Flow 7 rubbed my pinky enough to interfere on long runs. great shoes.

Pros
  • Road running
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
