PROFESSIONAL DOG โ€‹โ€‹TRAINER OFFER

I am a professional dog trainer and I would highly recommend these 2.25 inch Herm Sprenger Prong collars for unruly dogs especially large dogs 20lbs and up! I love the idea of a buckle closure for people who can't undo the connections; due to arthritis or just weak hands. No buckle requires a little skill and practice! The only thing I complain about is the missing martingale effect. The collar should fit snugly just behind the ears and the collar should fit under the dog's chin. Without the martingale (chain or nylon) the collar will not tighten when corrected, resulting in the collar slipping off the dog's neck and rotating so the ring is on top, defeating the purpose of the clamp. She should act like a mother, grab the dog by the neck without putting pressure on the dog's neck, of course without hurting it. I will only offer this collar to a customer if the person cannot remove it from the dog by loosening the links. Otherwise, I highly recommend using a regular 2.25 Herm Sprenger Prong/Pinch Collar (martingale chain attaches at bottom. Add or remove links to tighten properly). The best fit is one with a small square panel in the center of the top of the collar. The one I attached in the picture WORKS BETTER than the buckled HS collar I'm considering. I hope that makes sense.
