These Apple Magic Mice don't like soft surfaces, but the metal mat that works so well with that mouse is cold as hell. It's perfect. And the Apple keyboard is so low on the table top that I wanted something underneath (because my table is metal and also cold). It's a great interface, whatever it is. Based on the review it lays flat and doesn't move like my old PC mouse pad. I like the size too. Many of these table cushions are too big for my setup.
