Easy application for beginners. In the past I mostly had problems with acrylic, polygel and regular gel. And just refilling it in a cat eye design, which I like, is $50. I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about the thickness but for me this is a positive as it doesn't drain to the side and it's easier to avoid the skin around the nail. When you apply it to your cuticles or anywhere on your skin it doesn't stick together which is great because it flakes off instantly. When you take it out, a long line of product comes off, but if you look closely and wait a second, it comes back to the brush. It's self-leveling, so you don't have to be a mold master. I've seen many reviews that it doesn't heal completely, just a sticky residue left behind. Under the lamp it only lasts two minutes. To get rid of this residue, simply wipe with alcohol and you're done. I used faux lace but it created a dimple and they didn't hold either. This is the first time without prompts and I'm amazed it looks so good. I don't need acetone to saturate them, they come off very easily with a single drill unlike acrylic, polygel and most other gels. Between soaking and shaping my nails, I sat here for 5-6 hours only to get frustrated and screw it up anyway. Then, as a perfectionist, I came back to it a few nights later and promised myself a different result. True definition of insanity, right? Those days are over. I will definitely always use it.
