We use butter almost every day. It always took longer to soften, or put it in the mic and then got it wrong and it came out liquid instead of soft. I just love that you can put salted butter in an airtight dish like this for up to two weeks. I can promise you our oil never lasts two weeks so it gets changed every week or so. It's so funny how such a small thing can make your life so much easier. Highly recommended!
