I knew I would have to cut the posts off the ear studs to fit the component holder socket. but it is difficult to insert the posts into the slot, very difficult, since I pressed it it bent. Luckily I have jewelry making tools to cut and straighten the needle. I put a pair of pins in the transducer component, they aren't heavy and you need to position them properly on the ear to keep them from sagging. I think heavier earrings don't go well with them. I'm not sure I'll be using the remaining components to convert other stud earrings anytime soon. And I don't think I would recommend them to anyone.
