This case for my MacBook Pro has the appearance of faux leather but is very well finished, with good details and offers a good and elegant protection for my MacBook Pro. What I like most about this sleeve is that its surface is not smooth so it "sticks" to the surfaces I put it on and is unlikely to slip off the laptop stand and fall. I've been pleased with this quality since my last laptop which was in a hard plastic case was dropped and smashed. This one is completely different. It's flexible and I don't think it will break. This turned out to be a good choice for me and my Mac.
