Review on ๐Ÿน Kemimoto Cup Holder with Alligator Clip โ€“ Oxford Fabric Drink Can Holder for Boats, Motorcycles, Wheelchairs and More - Blue by Noah Jess

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lasts at least 6 months on trailer

This may be a strange review but I bought this bottle cage designed for a bike, for a trailer truck. Winter came and I didn't have a beverage cooler and I had this crazy idea of a "natural cooler". The Peterbilt I machine has mirrors attached to bars that connect to the cockpit and I figured I could use a sturdy bottle cage designed for the bike to store drinks in the winter to keep them moving through the natural cold to cool down. Winter weather in Colorado. With this great idea I looked at many different ones but I needed a steel or aluminum yoke (something that would hold up well in inclement weather) and finally stumbled upon this Kemimoto and decided to give it a try and, well, 9 months later it still persists. I had to add a thin layer of rubber between the clip and the mirror bar to prevent slipping and scratching (like a grommet/spacer) and a strong zip tie (available at your local Ace store) because I just didn't like the screw and the washer held the clamp holder. Either way, it holds up great (except for the obvious rust on the metal studs). It sat there all winter and summer in Colorado and at speeds from 0 to 75 mph. I really recommend this bottle cage (along with some reinforcements of course) because if it can work on a trailer I'm pretty sure it's good enough for a bike haha.
