I replaced red hot halogens with these LEDs in 2 bathroom fixtures. Just ordered 2 more pair. I chose white to replace the "soft " Halogens. They fit lengthwise and in diameter, no problem. Look at the difference in the pics. Also note the charred heat signatures above the halogens. It's a wonder the original owners didn't have a fire.When removing these from the box, tear the end of the box before pulling the bulb out. After trying these out, I prefer the metal clasp over the plastic. I didn't know I had preference until I had the plastic clip and they don't feel as sturdy in quality.
