I needed a bright magnifying light to clip to my craft stand, in order to illuminate and enlarge counted cross stitch patterns. The stand can't support a heavy light. This light is the ideal weight and size for my needs. It's bright enough to make seeing the pattern easy, and the magnifier enlarges the pattern to ease eye strain. This is great but the lamp head is really heavy. I use a tray table to do my diamond painting and the clip doesn’t hold it tight enough and it falls over a lot

I use this to look at coins mostly. I like the three light options and they all provide enough light. It's also super handy to just clip it on the desk and be able to move it with the flexible arm. Way better than holding a hand magnifier or loupe.

I tried it on the table. I tried it on my desk. It would open for an oak tv tray but then the light was too heavy and the tray fell over. The light had nice brightness and crazy magnification. It just wouldn't work for my needlework because I didn't own anything to clip it on that was the right size.

This one is much too heavy to clip to a hoop or Qsnap for stitching. Light is nice and bright but not sure how you could possibly clip it to your work.

Well, I got it for Christmas and little things like changing colors stopped working, then the different lighting. The head kept unscrewing from the flex tube and I screwed it back on. I'm pretty good at repairing things, but I can't fix this.

I've recently gotten into D&D and subsequently, printing minis and painting them. This has become invaluable for me whenever I am paining. The lights are more than bright enough for my aging eyes, and the magnifying is perfect to see the nooks and crannies that I otherwise would miss. I believe it has taken my bad paint jobs to passable, and that's all I can really ask for at this time.

It's only 5X magnification. Description says 10X, the box says 10X, the product inside the box is 5X. Save your money That's my feedback.

neither the clamp not the gooseneck are strong enough to hold the light out horizonatally like some of the product images show, which really limits its usefulness as amagnifier.

This magnifying light is the best I have owned; the price is the icing on the cake! I previously purchased a similar light from Joann Fabric that was great, but the usb port on the light itself was the Achilles heel! It bent and broke, so I replaced it with another usb cord which also broke in the same spot/same way. This time, the internal part of the port was damaged so I had to throw it away. It was expensive, and should have a way better cord system.LIKE THIS ONE on AMAZON!Buy it!

The light covering was not attached, it had fallen off. Luckily I was able to snap it back in place. You can only move it by the bendy neck, not the head for fear the piece will continue to fall off. Makes it hard when you need to move the head itself.

Not 10x. No way. 2x is stretching it. Pretty sure the magnifying "glass" is plastic. Taking photos with my phone and blowing them up worked better.

Using for looking at ID'ing old photos- some of the faces are very small, and too grainy to enlarge. Also using for cleaning and repairing jewelry. Was concerned about some of the other reviews, but the clip is large and the neck is solid. Very well built for the price.

My husband loves it! He uses it for his hobby models. And being able to adjust the brightness of the light and the different shades of light make it so much easier for him to see the tiny pieces.

This lamp is not that good, it does not have the magnification that I designed, it is a lot of money what it costs That's my feedback.

This 10X Magnifying Glass Lamp is really useful, it's really a Headache work with magnifiers and with lack of illumination, but my issue is solved with this product, it has a powerful lamp that has 3 different colors effects and also you can graduate the intensity of the light and the magnifier is awesome also something I love of this is the grip is powerful. I would invest on it more than one time if I need it.

I love the brightness of this lamp and the option for three different types of light. The magnification is excellent as well and enlarges the size I was looking for. The lamp is a little top heavy depending on what you clip it to which makes it somewhat awkward on some surfaces. I've found it to be perfect clipped to my desk for jewelry or postage stamps and even to the wooden arm of my rocker for when I am doing cross-stitch projects. Overall it does what I wanted it to.
