Noise Cancelling Sleep Therapy: Yogasleep Dohm Classic (Pink) White Noise Machine Review

We had one of these in the bedroom of my children during their toddler years. We called it the "cookie machine,”- I’ve no idea why. My daughter recently requested the same machine before going off to college. It’s simple, does the trick and lasts. She said it works well and it’s exactly what she wanted.

I wish I had bought one forever ago. It doesn't cut out all the sound living near a busy road, but goodness me its so much better. Not good if you don't find white noise relaxing, but very good at cutting out the nuisance noise of a neighborhood so I could sleep even with my unusual hours. If you're not sure what to expect and you've ever seen a similar product at a therapist's office.its the same product. I liked the pink because it fit in my pastel room better.

Getting our 10-month old to fall asleep quickly and sleep through the night (10-12 hrs) was a real struggle for us. This item worked like magic the very first time even though we had tried white noise sounds on other devices before. Would have paid roughly $1,000 if I knew how effective it would be.

I wanted to have the sound of a box fan without having a fan blow on me (it’s been really cold lately). That’s exactly what this thing gives me. I had the best sleep I have gotten in a while thanks to this thing.

I’m not really sure why Dohm has so much street cred but it’s the only machine I’ll buy for the purpose. :) Bought this soft pink one this time just bc I think they’re Guly in general so it’s a nice contrast. I wish they’d come out w crazier colors!

I got the baby pink color! I Love the color! I had the old version of the dohm and this version is a little quieter I mean the sounds are a little quieter which I like! Thk u so so much!

Use this machine in my daughters room to block street noise. Now she can’t sleep with out it. I bought the travel one foe sleepovers.

"Marpac" brand Dohms were good. Then "Serious Sleep Specialists" Dohms were. just. OK/passable. Yoga sleep brand Dohms are not good. It seems with every buyout and rebrand and new company that takes over this product, there is serious degradation, with the current generation being the worst yet.The product rattled before turning it on, and worse when on of course. This white nose maker has been a great addition to my home office. It drowns out all the disruptive noise from outside the room. With the machine on (even at its lowest setting) the sound of the TV in the living room, the screams from the kids, the dogs barking, and even the birds chirping/cooing outside my window fade into nothing. My daughter can sleep through any noise in the house form the dog or loud boys. We love this and use it every night! That's my feedback.

This works for me about twenty percent of the time - I find the hum distracting at times rather than soothing. Living in the city, I am accustomed to outside noise, but the inside noise in condominiums feels much louder and more distracting. If you are a light sleeper this may work for you. It helps that you can somewhat adjust the sound of the white noise machine.

Purchased on OCT21 and by SEP22, the motor blew up and there was black residue all over the pink portion and fan holes on sides. I just filed a claim, and because it has been just over 1 year since I filed the claim, they were unwilling to honor it being broken/defective since it was broken in SEP21 but filed just after OCT22. The quality is awful and paying over $50+ for a motor than blows air through holes to make noise and then not receiving a new one when it breaks, is ridiculous. For $50…

I’m sure this would work great for an adult just trying to get to sleep. But it is not loud enough for a baby/toddler! It doesn’t block out other noises very well at all.

It was not soothing to my sleep, even on low it was just air blowing to loudly to fall asleep by and to stay asleep. Thanks for attention!

From my medical assistant's office I can hear conversation from other office spaces which is distracting. This white noise machine does drown out most of that.

Where has this machine been all my life? I had never used a white noise machine before and I must say I'll now be using them for life. This device is so soothing. I bought one more so now I have one on either side of the bedroom so the sound is "balanced". I love the sleek design and the pink color I chose matches my bedroom so they blend right into the decor. Quality product. Highly recommend.

My husband and I got our first Dohm 6+ years ago and it’s still going strong. We bought a second intended for a nursery but stole that one too and used two during pregnancy. We finally had the baby and forked one over but when this pink one was on sale we couldn’t resist. The color is adorable and there is just something so good about the hound from a brand new one! We don’t sleep without it, even bringing them on vacation!
