This noise cancelling thing was a joke. It’s simply a quiet fan. My air purifier is a better noise canceler than this thing.

These are a must for good sleep. They block out a good amount of noise. We travel with them, take them to our parents’, and have them in every bedroom in the house. I love the pink for the little girl’s room.Worth the money.

I definitely need white noise to sleep. I bought one of these for my sister years ago. She's quite loud in the mornings lately and I was hoping this might down her out, but it really isn't loud like that. This is more like a fan on the next to highest setting. I do notice is does drown some a lot of background noise and it helps me sleep when I don't want to use a fan. Overall happy with it.

Sometimes it's so noisy in the house or coming from outside -- like traffic etc. -- that you just can't get to sleep. In the summer, I don't have any problem because I have an oscillating fan going all the time. As it cools off and I when I don't want that cold air blowing on me, I find that I miss the soothing nature of the sound of the fan.I have tried all sorts of sound from those found on phone apps to other devices and found the noise to be so artificial it is more irritating than calming.

I love this white noise machine, it helps me sleep and the best thing you can take with you anywhere and have a good night sleep.
