I needed a bright magnifying light to clip to my craft stand, in order to illuminate and enlarge counted cross stitch patterns. The stand can't support a heavy light. This light is the ideal weight and size for my needs. It's bright enough to make seeing the pattern easy, and the magnifier enlarges the pattern to ease eye strain. The goose neck is long enough to clamp to the center back of my stand, then wrap around to the front where I need it. It's easy to adjust as needed over different areas of the cross stitch chart. The clip was a little bit of a struggle to get in place due to the thickness of the board I needed to attach it to, which made me happy because that means it grips tightly and stays in place. I've used this light for weeks now, and it's proven itself. I'm happy with this purchase and would buy it again.
