Beautiful, but some problems

Overall, I like this lamp and I think the price is reasonable (€43 as of 09/2021). The same type of lamp is sold elsewhere in silver for nearly $80. In fact, I installed the lamp upside down (see photo), which is why the globe hangs on the bracket. It also looks beautiful. I don't think there are mechanical problems. Problems: The main problem is that the hole that the bulb has to go through is only 48mm in diameter. This is so small you'll have to look for a bright LED to fit. It seems that only T10 tube lamps will be a win-win option. I now have an equivalent 60W T10 LED: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QJM9WZQ that works fairly well and can be dimmed. What is more difficult is that there is only a very limited number of suitable smart lamps. The color is actually not gold but aged brass, the pictures on the website make it look shinier than it is. The screws that attach the lamp to the base plate are poorly positioned. I had to attach the base of the lamp to the base on the wall, and the screws of this base in the wall were placed horizontally. As a result, I was only able to attach the bottom plate of the product so that the two protruding nuts were not level (see photo). Luckily you can turn the mounting lever to the base. The glass ball's metal mount was loose on mine, so you may need to use a screwdriver to align and reattach it.

Pros
  • Recommended bulb: Standard Medium Cap (E26), LED Max 60W, better with matte white diffuser (bulb not included).
Cons
  • The list will be long.
