So far, so good! works well with laptop accessories

LAST UPDATED - 3 MONTHS GONE! I decided to add another update to this review because I can't believe the headphones still work! I still use them almost every day when I'm walking, working out at the gym, or blocking out distractions at work. I haven't had any problems with them. Battery life with daily use for an hour or two at a time was excellent. I have yet to let them run completely dead. I usually charge them after about 4 days (about 6-8 hours of occasional use). The headphones still work and I will definitely buy them again. In fact, I could just buy another pair to have backups in case my current pair die. UPDATE - 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE: I additionally tested the headphones for comfort and remote listening from my phone. comfort. Update: These headphones are very comfortable when left unused for a long period of time, which is usually a problem with all headphones. I don't think anyone was made to avoid this problem. (If I did, I didn't find it!) Yesterday I wore it for a few hours while working and listening to music - after about 3 hours I was at the limit. My ears started hurting from the headphones but the pain stopped as soon as I took them off. I definitely wouldn't recommend using them for more than an hour or so to avoid this. Device update distance: I tested the headphones out at the gym today to see how far I can get from my phone before they go off. Roughly speaking, I was about 24 feet from my phone (which was in my locker), this time with headphones in the shower. When I stood with my right ear toward my phone, I didn't have any particular problems, but as soon as I turned away from that area or changed position, the sound began to disappear. Same result in the locker room where I was a little closer to the locker but there were 2 walls between me and the phone. Interesting try! Overall I think this is a perfectly acceptable distance - most of us are no more than 10ft from our phones when using headphones anyway! while training in the gym. Key points for me when buying: - COMFORT - I have small ears and 99% of the headphones I've tried are either too big to even fit in my ear or they fit, but they do after a few minutes of use wearing it hurts. -- SOUND QUALITY -- Many less expensive headphones have terrible sound quality -- You get what you pay for, right? -- DURABILITY -- They have to be durable enough for me to use them daily for workouts and workouts. maybe to stay focused at work - not get distracted - PRICE - I just won't pay $100 or more for headphones, airfields or whatever. I lose them, they break etc. - and I have to pay to have them replaced. So I understand you get what you pay for, but there's a line I won't cross when it comes to price when it comes to headphones. There has to be a good middle ground somewhere. That seems to be all now! I had them for about a week and used them almost every day during workouts. . I got into my car near the gym, plugged in the earbuds, turned them on, made sure the BT connection was open on my phone and pressed/hold the button for a few seconds and immediately heard "connected!" ' from the headphones and it showed connected on my phone. The whole process took a maximum of 2 minutes. That was almost a week ago and I haven't had to reconnect them yet. Whenever I put them on and turn them on while BT is open on my phone, they connect instantly as soon as I turn on the earbuds. Comfort - they are comfortable - which is HUGE for me. I'm tired of buying headphones that *think* they'll fit me (because they can't be tried on for obvious reasons) only to find that they don't work due to my small ear size. I want headphones that I can put on and forget about. That's them! I put them on, tuck the earbud behind my ear to hold it in place, adjust the angle of the earbud itself a little, and walk away. I never have to touch them again during a workout unless I somehow smack and knock them out, but even then the earhook mostly keeps them in place. Charging - Charging is easy - I plug it into my laptop every night, right in front of my phone, so I don't forget to take it with me in the morning when I pick up my phone to go to the gym. This keeps them fully charged at all times so I can just use them without worrying about them running out of power. I have a long time to test them, but they do a great job for my hour-long workout. Distance from the phone - I don't know what it's called from a technical point of view, sorry. ;-) It wasn't a problem for me. I don't usually carry my phone very far from me - it's always in my pocket or clipped to my belt during workouts. However, I recently tested them in the shower as they are said to be waterproof. I left my phone in my gym bag in the locker room and put on my headphones in the shower - about 10 to 12 feet away. No static or audio issues. Waterproof/sweatproof - no issues so far. I'm just starting my workout and fitness journey, so I'm not a hardcore workout fan right now, but I do sweat a bit. So far I don't see any problems with headphones in this regard. I've worn them in the shower as mentioned above with no issues, but I haven't submerged them in water or held them directly under the showerhead, so I can't comment on how they perform when fully submerged or wet. But for general use during a workout they seem to work well. Sound quality is not an issue here. I listen to both music and podcasts during my workouts, at the gym where music is constantly playing and I find it distracting - with these headphones and something playing on my phone I can tune out their music completely. If I focus on it, I find that I can still hear it, but not so much that it distracts me. Price - unbeatable for the price! Even if they stop working after a few months, as I've seen other reviewers do, I won't get too upset about having to buy a new pair. Of course, having to buy new ones every few months isn't an ideal situation, so I hope that doesn't happen, but I'd rather pay $20 for a new pair than $100 for a more expensive branded pair. For the price, I think this is a good deal. Durability - so far very good. Again, I've only had them for about a week, but no problems so far. I keep them in the little hard case they come with (love it!) and put them in and take them out of that case almost every day. Case and headphones are holding up well so far. If this review changes within the next month or so I will update it accordingly. :-)
