We really like drinking dark roasted coffee, which tends to get oily and over time sticks together with very fine, muddy coffee grounds. I usually clean the burrs as much as I can and blow off the dust, but you can't achieve everything. I ran it through a meat grinder and it was amazing. The ridges almost shone. I was very impressed. My only complaint is having to spend a little coffee to clean the burr cleaner. A small price, but still a nuisance. I highly recommend buying this product if you tend to use a lot of dark roast coffee. If you tend to lighter roasts, you probably don't need this.
