Review on HORI Nintendo Switch Officially ๐ŸŽฎ Licensed Mario Kart Racing Wheel Pro Deluxe by Joseph Willis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Adds a whole new dimension to racing games on the Switch

This steering wheel is a much-needed addition to the Switch - let's face it, those ring wheels are just silly - and it's well built, with a solid arcade quality feel. A NOTICE. To get the most out of the Hori Deluxe Pro, you'll need a stable, heavy table to which you'll need to attach the wheel using the small hardware provided. Suction cups alone are not enough: in the tense parts of the game you have to change the position of the wheel around the table, trying to steer and push down at the same time to prevent this. But with the clip in place it's rock solid, you can pick up any bobby pin and it won't budge. I bought it mainly for Out Run and Mario Kart and it works great with both. We have two wheels (two switches) and using the wheel for Mario Kart really levels the playing field. It's difficult but fun. While the pedals are a bit further apart (and different in design), they work well. Just make sure you pull out the footrest/handle on the pedal set or it will never stay in place. Since the Switch features the ultimate home version of Out Run, the Hori Wheel brings you as close to the arcade as possible. experience in your basement. The wheel provides that much-needed extra precision for maneuvering through traffic, which is difficult to accomplish with joysticks. The wheel works great in the two games I tried, although I recommend increasing the sensitivity by one step and decreasing the deadzone by two steps. The included instructions explain how to do this. Enjoy! Too bad there is no force feedback, but you can't have everything...
