For the price I should have known to be very careful when attaching the strap that holds the stuff. It was quite windy and the fabric was loose so I went underneath and adjusted the strap, I pulled harder and it ripped completely. The strap is torn on one side. This would have happened if I hadn't tightened it. Now it is held with a rubber cord. In fact, the design could have been better if there had been some reinforced holes to allow threading and tying the strap, or to use the elastic cords we currently use. I think we should have paid more money and used a custom Yamaha pannier.
