It is quite difficult to assemble. It cost almost $42 and the inner hinge of the shade part was broken. We couldn't figure out why the lampshade was crooked until we went through the entire process of assembling the lampshade. This is very frustrating. You can only get a refund by disassembling and returning it. It shouldn't cost $42. Assembled it looks like the other photos. I'm disappointed that I put all that effort into the shade and it's tilted due to a broken connection caused by poor/cheap manufacturing. The metal is very thin and bends easily. It reminds me of the metal you find in the dollar store.
