These are great for putting over drainage holes in my indoor planters! Of course it would've been cheaper to just buy some screen material and cut them out myself, and I may do that when I run out of these. But right now these were just a simple quick and easy solution for someone living in a small apartment who doesn't have a ton of room to store her plant paraphernalia. These are nice and thin and flexible, just like window screen material. Does the job of keeping the soil in and letting the pot drain water properly. In larger pots I do have to hold them in place while adding the first couple inches of soil so they stay in place over the drainage hole, but that's not a problem, just something to note.
