I was wary of spending $20 on a welcome mat, a minor item meant to go literally anywhere. But, hey, why not decorate a bare off-campus apartment? Bring the tropics (or whatever pattern you choose - there are many) to your doorstep! Let's be honest: we can't afford a real holiday. The carpet is made of coconut. I have no idea what coir is, but I think it's best described as coarse stubble. Perfect for catching all that nasty crap that you would otherwise stomp all over the floor. The size 18x30" is perfect for a standard door. The best thing about this rug, justifying its price, is its design. The product corresponds to the colour. The image advertised is what you get, not oversaturated hype for the sake of sale.
