I looked at this product before Amazon started selling it about 3 years ago but it was expensive and I didn't want to risk it. Sigh - I should have bought it then! This is my first day using it and I have to say I need this filter for the whole house lol. Before using this filter I didn't have a filter so my skin always felt dry and itchy when I got out of the shower and forgot how dry my hair was and how much fell out in the shower. My hair usually takes 10-15 minutes to air dry and looks like a lion's mane - a tousled mess! However, today I was surprised by some results. The water felt soft during the shower and it took me probably an extra minute (I didn't time it) to get the soap off my skin and about 2 minutes more to get the shampoo/conditioner off my hair to get. I don't know the reason for this, but I'm not mad about it because when I finished the shower I wiped my skin/face off and noticed my face was still damp so I let it dry completely - felt me still wet. Usually it came out DRY and I had to apply face oil but today I didn't! My skin was also damp and when I applied lotion after the shower because my skin was tight and dry I waited a bit and my skin didn't feel dry or itchy before using the filter, it was still damp but then I went after her. with my routine. The most amazing thing for me was my hair! Like I said, it usually air dries 10-15 minutes before I have to straighten it because I can't leave the house like a lion (I have curly hair, of course), but today... today darling... my hair is still fresh (I got out of the shower 1.5 hours ago) My curls are damp and a bit bouncy, which makes me very happy because soon I won't have to treat my hair with hot tools or chemicals to save my hair. Curls because they look crazy, but of course I can wear them whatever I want. I LOVE this filter and really wish the company would work on making something like this for the whole house!
