Review on Brooklyn Botany Lip Scrub Exfoliator Personal Care : Lip Care by Robert Edmondson

Sturdy and effective - tastes great

If you've used a lip scrub before, you already know what to expect. For those who didn't, you end up with a slightly oily mixture with lots of sugar crystals. Most lip scrubs have small granules. I think these are pretty big. You apply this to your lips and then rub it over the surface. You can also use your lips to rub together for a cleansing effect. If you prefer, you can wipe it off gently or leave it on for a while to allow the oils to soak into your lips. Either way, it works fine. Because these sugar crystals are so large, I like to make sure I do this over the sink so I can drop the loose pieces into the sink. Then, since I don't really like sugar, I'll gently rub out the crystals. If you swallow something, you'll be fine because it's just sugar. However, diabetics should be careful. The taste of coconut is pleasant. It's not a strong or cheap smell or taste. You won't smell that cheap, overly strong tropical tan smell. It's lighter, more beautiful and more comfortable. Very clean. Once you're done, those cracked flakes will be gone. Lips become beautiful and smooth, they look and feel healthy. I find they will feel oddly hydrated and dry at the same time. The base feels nourished and hydrated, but I want some balsamic layered on top. When I'm done I just apply another lip balm or even cream lipstick on top and it's ok. Aside from clarifying chapped lips and making them feel good, I believe it will also enhance your lipstick. . Because you've removed all those layers of dry flakes, your lipstick will apply better and look more even. It will be nicer too. It's good for both men and women. This is a pretty good lip scrub and I think it's probably the best lip scrub I've tried. Great for all skin types.
