I only use scissors. This is my third pair in ten years. However, this is not the fault of the instrument. The first pair was damaged by someone using them without permission and cutting a wire with them (that's a big no-no with metal scissors). The second pair is lost. I think I will only wear a second pair after ten years of daily use. Just don't cut things they weren't designed for. Do not attempt to cut 16 gauge stainless steel. Do not cut the wire. Do not use on plasma cutting edges with slag. I've used Wiss, Klenk, Milwaukee, and Craftsman. The Midwest is best for credit. If you're looking for non-offset, Wiss is very good.
