I installed these lights in my basement office/playroom to create cool lighting. a minute to find out - Doesn't work well with a dimmer (not that they're advertised) - Obviously if you reset your router they go nuts (that's pretty funny) - Can't use a dimmer to control these lights. The app on the phone to control the lighting is rather cumbersome, but useful at the same time. You can set it up to turn the light on and off on a schedule, which is great. But it's a little annoying that if someone comes into your home and uses the switch, you might have to re-add all of your lights to your application. And if your power or internet goes down for even a second, you might be screwed. I currently have 5 of these installed in my office, two of which won't turn on anymore so I can't even reset them or add them to the app. The other three turn on and allow a reset, but now they blink randomly. I've never plugged my Alexa into my office and I haven't set up another smart home hub, I guess that's what they were designed for or something.
