Haven't used it yet, well just to try. It's so quiet I even laughed when I turned it on! I bought this for my metalwork so it will have some serious use and I hope it lasts. This is my first angle grinder as I usually use an electric power cutter. There seems little comparison in feel and size. This one is smaller and much lighter and I hope it will be easier to use and less tiring. The finish is superb and comparable to that of any leading brand (snap-on). It looks and feels like a high quality instrument and I hope the inner workings are at least half as good...! But best of all, when you turn on the air and twist, it's pretty damn quiet! I'm a PPE addict, I've taught health and safety so obviously I was expecting a high-pitched scream that would make me reach for my headphones, but no.... You could use it without them. However, longer use with some ear protection would be better. In summary, I have to say that I am still very satisfied with my purchase. I'm glad I did a little research before deciding on my first die grinder. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT buy cheap, spend a little more and get this, you will LOVE your solution.
