Lightweight Portable Rain Poncho

I usually wear these cheap dollar store ponchos when I travel and this is the first more expensive poncho I've used. I received 2 packages and chose the poncho design because I never know who will come out in the rain with me. This would work well if I had someone overweight with me. The only spot that might be limited is the neck opening, but it works great for my head, which is larger than most people's. It rained last night and I took one of them to go for a walk later - just in case. The air was a little chilly and that kept me warm as it also restricted airflow. I really like the blue color and it worked great when sprinkled a little. This works in most rainy conditions except very windy conditions can inflate the poncho. I doubt anything could help in a situation like this. I was warm until I took them off after about 30 minutes. I suspect my body heat and the colder environment caused the condensation, but there was a lot of it. It was quite humid inside due to condensation - again I think most things will do the same. My clothes weren't wet at all, but they were damp and when they evaporated I was definitely cold. I wear Bluetooth earbuds when I walk and it protects them and my phone. I took it with me on trips and it is very small. I take up about twice as much space as cheap dollars. It's one you won't throw away, you'll want to bring it home.
