This stool is essential for short people and people with back problems. I first bought and used it at a flea market a year ago when I was a new breastfeeding mom. The oblique design is unique and very comfortable. I am now in my 40's and have multiple herniated discs. I like to use this stool when sitting as I'm 4'11 and most chairs are too high or too low for me. Putting my feet on a stool while sitting and doing needlework relieves my lower back and is quite comfortable. The base is also quite wide (about 16 inches wide and 11 inches high). It is very easy to assemble and comes with everything you need. I have included a photo in my review. It comes with glue and assembles in about 10 minutes. The only downside to this chair is that the bottom handles are hard plastic. Another stool I bought years ago had rubber bottom assemblies to prevent slipping when used on a hardwood/tile floor. This is fine if you plan on using it on carpet, but you may need to put something underneath if you plan on using it on a hard surface.
