My first two pairs were completely worn out after loyal service and holiday abuse. They wear out over time like most cheap sunglasses, but they're cheap and I buy a new pair when they wear out. They are very comfortable to drive because I can clearly read the instruments, the radio and the GPS. I suspect part of the magnifying glass is glued on, hard to see but certainly not noticeable. At first I didn't buy them for this reason, but after trying a few I ended up buying the same ones each time. The hue is better than the gray in my opinion. More stretchy yet blocking the sun. Instead of everything looking grey, it's more of a warm tone.
