Great price for a hard to find pair of bifocals.

Great product for the price. I didn't expect a pair at a good price to be exemplary compared to an expensive pair from a big brand, I'm happy with the price I paid. The width of the bridge is a little smaller than we would like. Big framed guys beware, we know how difficult it is to fit a wider face. The spring-loaded arms help, but look clunky due to the smaller bridge. Bifocals are great and are in proportion to my line of sight. I thought I would buy a pair of blacks and a pair of tortoise…

Pros
  • Lightweight, durable frame for maximum comfort.
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Ideal for driving or reading on the beach.

My first two pairs were completely worn out after loyal service and holiday abuse. They wear out over time like most cheap sunglasses, but they're cheap and I buy a new pair when they wear out. They are very comfortable to drive because I can clearly read the instruments, the radio and the GPS. I suspect part of the magnifying glass is glued on, hard to see but certainly not noticeable. At first I didn't buy them for this reason, but after trying a few I ended up buying the same ones each time.

Pros
  • Spring hinges to fit most face sizes
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Good but too dark for me

They're pretty good. But in general, the lenses are too dark for me, which causes two problems: If you want to make calls with them, it's not very good. The phone looks very dark. If you go back and forth from sunlit to shaded areas you will be able to see very little in the shaded areas as your aperture is slightly smaller from daylight, then the dark lenses make the shaded ones appear as dark as night. I tried them for the first time on a sunny October afternoon on a trip to Naples and…

Pros
  • Mount: 140mm
Cons
  • Only available in black
